Terms & Conditions - the basics
1. SERVICES
Happening Now Cleaning provides residential and/or commercial cleaning services as agreed upon at the time of booking. Services are limited to the scope described in the booking confirmation or written agreement. Any additional tasks requested on-site are subject to availability and additional charges.
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if conditions are unsafe, unsanitary beyond reasonable expectations, or if aggressive, abusive, or inappropriate behavior is displayed.
2. SCHEDULING & ACCESS
Clients agree to provide safe, timely access to the premises at the scheduled service time. Failure to provide access may result in a cancellation fee.
Clients are responsible for securing pets, valuables, and fragile items prior to service. Happening Now Cleaning is not responsible for damage caused by unsecured items.
3. PRICING & PAYMENTS
All pricing is based on the information provided at booking. Prices may change if the condition of the property differs significantly from what was disclosed.
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods include [cash, card, invoice, etc.]. Late payments may be subject to additional fees.
4. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING
We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged 50%–100% of the scheduled service fee.
No-shows will be charged the full-service amount.
5. SATISFACTION GUARANTEE
Your satisfaction matters. If you are not satisfied with the service, you must notify us within 24 hours of service completion. We will address reasonable concerns by re-cleaning the affected area at our discretion.
Refunds are not guaranteed and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
6. DAMAGE & LIABILITY
Happening Now Cleaning is insured and takes reasonable care while providing services. Any claims of damage must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.
We are not responsible for:

Normal wear and tear

Pre-existing damage

Damage due to improper installation or faulty items

Damage caused by client-provided cleaning products or equipment
Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.
7. HEALTH & SAFETY
Clients must disclose any hazardous conditions, biohazards, mold, pests, or contagious illnesses prior to service. We reserve the right to cancel or adjust services for health and safety reasons.
8. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Clients agree to:

Maintain a safe working environment

Communicate special instructions in advance
Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in service refusal or additional fees.
9. EMPLOYEES & NON-SOLICITATION
All cleaners are employees or authorized contractors of Happening Now Cleaning. Clients agree not to solicit, hire, or contract with our staff directly during service or for 12 months thereafter.
10. TERMINATION OF SERVICES
We reserve the right to terminate services at any time for violation of these Terms, non-payment, unsafe conditions, or inappropriate conduct.
11. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state/province in which Happening Now Cleaning operates.
12. CHANGES TO TERMS
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
